Maximizing 2009 with Excellence

“It is never too late to be what you might have been.” George Eliot

“I ____________________________, do hereby swear that I will plan, work towards, support, uphold, protect, defend and maximize the Purpose of God for my life for 2009; bear true faith and allegiance to the success of my life, and will faithfully, conscientiously and impartially discharge the duties and functions of an Excellent Achiever of 2009 to the best of my ability, so help me God.”

These are the exact words of the oath of an Excellent Champion. Winners who are desperate to have nothing less than the best, improve their financial income, maximize their potential, succeed in their academic performance and experience God’s tangible blessing for their lives in 2009. Without doubt, the below 12 nuggets of Inspiration will take you through 365 days of 2009.

NUGGET #1 – Start with a DREAM! Continue with a Goal: Every stage in a man’s life starts with a dream. Can you envisage what you want to achieve in 2009? If you do not dream it, you will not attain it. Challenge yourself by buying a 2009 diary and specifically write down your goal (s) that may include your education, relationship or religion objectives. Boa me said, “Don’t be afraid to aim high in choosing your life goal, for the higher it is the more rooms you will have for achievement.” Focus consistently, center your energy and work towards them.

NUGGET #2 – Forget all past FAILURES: Put things in order around you. Are you a person who worry15 hours a day? Dr. Mensa Otabill mused, “The past and the future occur in the mind. The past is a memory and the future is an imagination.” 2009 is your chance for new achievement; forget all past disappointment, breakdown and crash in every area of your life. Forgive yourself and live a fruitful and happy life. Recognize that your life is valuable and special.

NUGGET #3 – Make confidence a necessary tool: You are smarter then your fears! If you can discover a destination that is worthy of your ability, then you have also discover the source of the confidence you need to persevere. Self-assurance will take you to higher places; boldness will also motivate your actions and create an atmosphere for your achievement in 2009. Do not fail your confidence. Believe that your success in 2009 is SURE and never quit.

NUGGET #4 – Be people oriented: Mother Theresa peacefully reflected, “Every time you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing.” How many friends do you have and care about? Watch your attitude towards people and connect yourself with them in your school, church or in the community. Remember that friendship multiplies joy and strengthen our relationship forever.

NUGGET #5 – Respect time: Have you tried living your life by seconds? 2009 opens each day with 86,400 seconds and carries over no balance from day to day. What happens if you fail to use a seconds for a worthy cause during a day? I belief God will send it back the next day leaving you with a BIG loss. It is wise to invest every second so as to get from it the utmost in health, happiness, and success. Treasure every moment you have. It is often said that, “Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is mystery. Today is a gift, that’s why it’s called the present!”

NUGGET #6 – Recognize opportunity and use it as promotion: Listen to what Edith Lovejoy Pierce wrote for 2009 achievers, “We will open the book. Its pages are blank. We are going to put words on them ourselves. The book is called opportunity and its first chapter is New Year’s Day.” Nothing will interest you but to realize that, all opportunities are never lost in 2009; they are taken by others. Sponsorship and other occasion exist; the sigh on their doors reads PUSH: Pray–Until–Something–Happens.

NUGGET #7 – Be obsessed with what you are doing: Possess success. Obsessed people are those who are desperate to get good result. They are preoccupied with their activities and drastic to make the best out of their dream and goals. Bob Bylan said, “A man is a success if he gets up in the morning and gets to bed at night, and in between he does what to do.” Make up your mind to prioritize important aspiration or target of your life and let each day of the year benefit you.

NUGGET #8 – Have a mentor and Respect proven achievers: Proven achievers are people who have already achieve what you want to achieve. Reverence their success and learn from them. Precisely, it is better to have a teacher, an advisor or a counselor who you can seek during inflexible days or when critical decision should be made during the year.

NUGGET #9 – Be innovative: What would you do if you knew that poverty is afraid of an innovative person? Listen, life is too short to waste time on thing (s) you are not gifted to do. Spend time on things that work. Creativity is necessary for self-success. Use your mind to design straightforward tactics and your thinking skills to produce ideas that will help your dreams become a genius reality. Regardless of the challenges and unforeseen troubles that come during the period of the year, you were created with brilliancy, brightness, intensity and a sense of concentration. Watch out! Until you create the object of your dream, you may be doomed for failure.

NUGGET #10 – Live a disciplined life: “Are you restricted?” Or “Can’t you be control?” Discipline people always abide by the commandment of achievement. Submit to authority, obey rules and regulations, control your emotions, organize your daily activities and open yourself to positive habits. God loves discipline people because they magnetize orderliness, neatness and efficiency. Bear in mind, ‘to live a discipline life is to live a successful life; for it attracts a sweet relationship, pure Christian life and an optimistic education opportunity.’

NUGGET #11 – Work hard or die crying: If every one on Buduburam were like you would there be testimonies? The easiest way to reduce tomorrow’s pressure is to effectively do what suppose to be done today. Solomon wrote, “He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepth in harvest is a son that causeth shame.” The option is yours, FAILURE or SUCCESS? Be a solid worker in all that you do in 2009.

NUGGET #12 – Make God your true source: The best way to maximizing 2009 is to commit your ways to the Lord and He will direct your path. Corrie Ten Boom reflected, “The devil smiles when we make plans. He laughs when we get too busy. But he trembles when we pray.” Tell God your plans; make Him the true source of all your achievement. All things [health, finance, happiness, education, good relationship, job, business, peace, traveling, marriage, opportunities etc.] are POSSIBLE in 2009 if you believe in God!
